Personal care
Learning personal care skills like dressing, cleaning teeth and bathing are important milestones in a child’s development. When your child can perform these tasks independently, key times of day when we use many of these skills together (such as in the morning and at bedtime) can be more easily managed.
Most personal care tasks involve completing a fixed set of steps in a certain order. A visual checklist is an ideal tool to help children master these skills as it provides a consistent reminder of the steps required and their sequence.
With a TomTag checklist, tasks can be shown in as much or as little detail as necessary and adapted over time as skills improve. TomTag uses visual cues to show and remind children or young people what is expected of them and what they should do next.
