Sensory issues

Sensory processing difficulties – sensitivity to light, touch, textures, smells and difficulties around understanding our body’s messages can cause anxiety.

TomTag visual prompts can help children or young people who experience sensory overload to communicate their sensory sensitivities and what’s going on with their body and in their thoughts.

A TomTag visual schedule can show them what to expect when they’re going to places that are likely to trigger sensory issues such as the doctor, dentist, hairdresser or the shops, when trying on and buying clothes and shoes or at special times of the year.
